SW Coastal is headed by Steve Wright an experienced timber frame builder, company based in Campbell river , British Columbia , home to some of the best reclaimed quality timbers in North America today . A blessed location that not only allows us to source all of our timbers locally, but also from sustainable managed resources.
As a builder, Steven came to the realization that there was a need to provide a service for an outer island construction team to step in and offer such a service to clients wanting an opportunity to live in these remote areas. Located between Campbell River and the mainland of British Columbia, the Discovery Islands dot the intricate waterways in some of the most spectacular scenery in the world.
The mild temperate climate, rural lifestyle and pristine environment all add to the charm of living or vacationing on these secluded islands.
Quadra Island is a 30 minute boat ride away from Read Island, and Campbell River is a 10 minute ferry ride from there, any and all necessities that are needed are within a reasonable distance. The only access to the Outer Islands is by private transportation; water taxis, boats and floatplanes from Campbell River. We provide transportation of all building materials and supplies as well as our crew members, to the location you have chosen. With S.W Coastal Builders, we use your ideas for the perfect dream house or cottage, and from concept to completion, we are committed to outstanding workmanship and superior quality.
Each home is designed to fit you personal needs, lifestyle and location, and no job is too big or too small. We are dedicated to individual interaction with our clients to provide them with the undivided attention they deserve throughout their project.
